I am Cecilia Navarro, a Fashion Designer specialized in Prêt-à-porter, with four years of training and one year of experience in the labor sector.

 

Focused on the development of creative concepts and their materialization, as well as creative direction and communication projects.

 

My curiosity and restlessness have led me to acquire knowledge in fields such as art, culture, fashion and design, as well as to learn to carry out precise research on their respective applications in our society, and their influence on different communities and minorities.

The ABELINA.LAB studio is a brand that creates clothing as the connecting axis of a much broader and more diverse aesthetic language where collaboration with other media, artists, disciplines and artisans come together to compose a complete universe. Raw Spanish authenticity, the artisan eye for detail and the freedom of use are conveyed in every look, characterizing ABELINA designs. The garments are made from a combination of exploration and technical construction. Incorporating the delicacy of the details, the care of the material and what is found accidentally in the way of elaboration. Each garment is unique and handmade by local manufacturers, making the signs of the complex process and craftsmanship.

After passing through different fashion workshops such as REPARTO, Blame Lilac, specialized artisan workshops, IED Madrid.

The first collection CHAPTER I, ABELINA was selected with an honorable mention for the best fashion project 2022, by a jury made up of designers such as Ernesto Naranjo.

 Later I was selected with this same project for the Allianz Ego Confidence in Fashion 2023 award in Madrid.

I am currently in full development of an OPEN CHAPTER, before a textile research process and new techniques and materials, as well as a performative approach to fashion, which requires times and spaces...in white.
